Installation Tips for Textured Mold Proof Wallpaper in Bathrooms

Installing textured mold proof wallpaper in your bathroom is a straightforward process that can be completed with a few simple steps. Here’s a guide to help you achieve the best results:

1. Prepare the Wall Surface

Before applying the wallpaper, ensure the bathroom walls are clean, dry, and smooth. Remove any existing wallpaper, dirt, and grease. Use a mild detergent to clean the walls, and allow them to dry completely.

2. Measure and Cut the Wallpaper

Measure the height and width of your bathroom walls. Cut the textured mold proof wallpaper into strips, adding a few extra inches to the height for trimming. Ensure each strip matches the pattern of the next strip to maintain a consistent look.

3. Apply Adhesive (if required)

Some textured mold proof wallpapers come pre-pasted, while others require adhesive. If adhesive is needed, apply it evenly to the back of the wallpaper strip using a brush or roller. Allow the adhesive to become tacky before applying the wallpaper to the wall.

4. Start from the Top

7. Allow to Dry

Allow the wallpaper to dry completely according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Avoid exposing the wallpaper to moisture during the drying period to ensure a strong bond.
